In Iceland, where the moss grows bright, Where waterfalls outshine the light, A monkey wandered, far from trees, Confused by glaciers, wind, and seas. A little frog, all emerald green, Lived where the hidden springs convene. They met beneath the northern sky, Where silent auroras drifted by. The monkey laughed. The frog just stared, Then laughed as well, they both were scared. "You swing," said Frog. "You hop," said Monkey. "Your life's quite strange." "Well, yours is funky." Yet both knew what it meant to roam, To search the world for somewhere home. To wonder if they'd ever find A heart that saw beyond the mind. The monkey dreamed of jungle rain. The frog knew lava, ice, and plain. They wandered cliffs and steaming streams, Collecting little shared day dreams. The puffins watched. The seals approved. Even mountains looked quite moved. The trolls, pretending not to care, Smiled as they passed by their lair. The monkey climbed. The frog would leap. They laughed until they fell asleep. Two hearts the world could not explain, Yet somehow beating just the same.
